06. AVS ADULT – E-MAIL CONFIRMER

September 21, 2019/in AVS Adult, Tutorials

CHAPTERS: CONFIGURE YOUR GMAIL [02:27] | E-MAIL CONFIRMER SETUP [04:59] | CONFIRMING E-MAILS [06:18]

IN this tutorial, you’ll learn how to properly set up and use the included free automatic e-mail confirmer, in order to successfully confirm account registration e-mails for your newly created upload accounts.

Unlike other software products, we provide free and unrestricted access to the automatic e-mail confirmer to all our users, regardless of their license type. The automated e-mail confirmer included in AVS Adult uses advanced link recognition techniques that allow the successful automatic confirmation of over 90% of account registration e-mails.

After creating submission accounts using the automatic account generator, please allow at least 30 minutes before confirming your registration e-mails, as certain websites send out confirmation e-mails with delay.

Before getting started with the e-mail confirmation, please make sure you have the following information available:

  • Your incoming mail server information, also known as the POP3 server.
  • Your incoming mail server port number, also known as POP3 port.
  • Depending on your mail server configuration, you might need to check the “Use SSL” checkbox.
  • Double-check that POP3 access is enabled for your mailbox.
  • Your incoming mail server user name. Usually, this is your full e-mail address.
  • Your incoming mail server password. Usually, this is your e-mail password.

The automatic e-mail confirmer will search and confirm, only registration e-mails located in your INBOX folder. All other mailbox folders will be excluded from the scan.

To make sure that all account registration e-mails are properly downloaded and confirmed, please move any messages located in the SPAM or JUNK folder of your mailbox, into the main INBOX folder before proceeding with the confirmation process.

Although we do not recommend using a free e-mail service for generating your submission accounts, many of our customers prefer using free e-mail alternatives such as GMX, OUTLOOK and especially GMAIL.

CONFIGURE YOUR GMAIL

VIDEO TUTORIAL | E-MAIL CONFIRMER  | 02:27

If you have used a GMAIL address for your account generation, please pay attention to how to properly configure your GMAIL account, before proceeding with the e-mail confirmation process.

  1. On your computer, open GMAIL (or click here).
  2. In the top right, click the Settings gear icon.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  5. In the POP Download section, select Enable POP for all E-mail.
  6. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.

Now that you have configured GMAIL for POP access, you’ll also need to allow less secure apps to access your account. Without this permission, the e-mail confirmer won’t be able to connect to your GMAIL account.

To allow access please follow the upcoming steps:

  1. Go to your Google Account, at myaccount.google.com
  2. On the left navigation panel, click Security.
  3. On the bottom of the page, in the Less Secure App Access panel, click Turn on access.

If you don’t see this setting, your administrator might have turned off less secure app access.

The GMAIL POP3 server information is as followed:

Incoming Mail Server or POP3:  pop.gmail.com
Port: 995
Requires SSL: Yes.

The “Use SSL” checkbox will be automatically checked for GMAIL.

For more information on how to configure other free e-mail services, such as Outlook, Zoho, GMX, etc., please refer to the Frequently Asked Question section of our website.

For e-mail addresses created on your own domains, please contact either your hosting company or your domain registrar, depending on where your e-mail is hosted. Please kindly ask them to provide you with the required information, on how to access your e-mail using POP3.

Once you’ve completed the configuration and have all the necessary information, please continue with the e-mail confirmation set-up.

E-MAIL CONFIRMER SETUP

VIDEO TUTORIAL | E-MAIL CONFIRMER  | 04:59

Under the E-mail Information section please provide your POP3 Server address,  Port number,  Username, and Password. The username is usually your complete e-mail address.

If your mail server requires a secure connection, set the appropriate port number and check the “Use SSL” checkbox. For certain free email providers, port number and the “Use SSL” option will be automatically completed upon entering your POP3 server information.

Under E-mail Settings, you can configure the confirmer not to download messages bigger than a predefined maximum size or to download only a maximum number of e-mail messages.

You can also set a timeout limit, for the e-mail confirmation process. If a certain registration e-mail cannot be confirmed within the time period set under the timeout setting, the e-mail confirmer will skip the registration confirmation and continue with the next e-mail message.

You can choose to leave a copy of the downloaded e-mail messages on the server or delete all downloaded messages from the server. We strongly recommend leaving a copy of the messages on the server, as some registration e-mails might require manual confirmation at a later time.

CONFIRMING E-MAILS

Once you’re ready to proceed with the confirmation process, please press the Download E-mail Messages button.

The automatic e-mail confirmer will now download all account registration e-mails, found within your main INBOX folder. The green progress bar will indicate the download progress of the e-mail messages from the server.

Near the Downloaded and Downloaded Messages text label at the top right and bottom left, you’ll see the number of downloaded messages and the total number of e-mails found on the server.

Once the download process has completed, press the Start Confirmer button to start the e-mail confirmation process.

You can Pause and Resume the e-mail confirmation at any time, by pressing the Pause / Resume button. The green progress bar will indicate the progress of the ongoing e-mail confirmation process.

Successfully confirmed e-mails will be marked with a green arrow, while failed e-mail confirmations will be marked with a yellow exclamation mark.

The numbers, displayed after the Confirmed and Confirmed E-mails text label on the right top and bottom, will provide information about how many registration e-mails were successfully confirmed, from a total number of e-mails that were identified as account registration e-mails.

You can select all e-mail messages using the Select All button. Pressing the Clear All button will clear the current selection.

You also have the possibility to delete selected e-mails, by pressing the Delete Selected button or to delete only the confirmed messages by pressing the Delete Confirmed button.

To delete all e-mail messages press the Delete All Mail button.

Please keep in mind that by pressing any of the delete buttons: Delete Selected, Delete Confirmed or Delete All, will permanently delete all email messages from both your mailbox and e-mail confirmer.

Thank you for choosing Advanced Video Submitter, the best free tube upload software available on the market!
